Aaditya Munshi
A finance student who builds software — turning messy, real-world problems into tools that actually get used.
01 About
Finance by study,
builder by habit.
I'm a first-year Finance student at Douglas College with a habit of reaching for code whenever something feels slower than it should be. Most of what I build starts as a small annoyance and ends as a tool somebody actually keeps using.
I care about the unglamorous parts — clean data, clear numbers, and interfaces that don't get in the way. Outside coursework you'll find me on side projects, martial arts, or reading about markets and AI.

02 Approach
How I work.
-
01
Understand
Start with the real problem, not the feature request. Talk to whoever feels the pain, and define what "done" actually means before writing a line.
-
02
Design
Sketch the simplest thing that could work. Weigh the trade-offs honestly and pick the version I can ship and defend.
-
03
Build
Get a working version in front of real inputs fast, then tighten. Test against the ugly edge cases, not the happy path.
-
04
Iterate
Measure, learn, and cut what isn't earning its place. A project is never finished — just better than last week.
03 Selected work
Things I've built.
-
01
DS Stat-Sheet Scanner
Upload a photo of a printed stat-sheet full of hand-written tallies and it reads, totals each section, and exports a clean Excel file — cutting the manual count that used to take hours down to seconds.
-
02
Project Two
A short, specific description — what it does, who it's for, and the one result you're proud of. One or two sentences is plenty.
-
03
Project Three
One more project. Keep the language plain and concrete — what problem, what you did, what happened.
